Can I pass this condition on to my children?

Recent studies suggest that genetics may influence having an arachnoid cyst. A clinical study in twins has shown that arachnoid cysts may be inherited in an “autosomal recessive” pattern, meaning one copy of the affected gene has to be inherited from each parent to acquire the disorder.
